About Taran

Taran Nina is a qualified Herbalist (HMC) dedicated to supporting clients on their path to holistic wellness. Her approach focuses on restoring harmony within the body by integrating plant medicine, food as healing, lifestyle shifts, self-care practices, and spiritual alignment.

Rooted in a deep respect for the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit, Taran’s practice draws on the ancient wisdom of traditions such as Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Each consultation is a collaborative journey, exploring the root causes of imbalance and supporting the body’s innate capacity to heal.

Guidance on herbs, nutrition, meditation, natural practices and flower essences are used not only as remedies, but as tools to nourish, restore, and realign. Spiritual and emotional wellbeing are also honoured, with practices that help reconnect you to your inner clarity and resilience.

This is a practice grounded in both traditional knowledge and modern holistic understanding, offering clients a meaningful, natural pathway to long-term wellness and self-awareness.

Purpose

The role of a naturopath or herbalist is to support individuals in achieving balance and equilibrium within. Drawing on the principle "First, do no harm"...attributed to Hippocrates, the practitioner serves not only as a guide but also as a teacher. The goal is to empower clients with the tools and understanding to care for their own health in a sustainable, informed way.

Reminder

Natural healing is not a quick fix, it's a commitment. This path is a conscious partnership between self and body. It requires personal responsibility, patience, and a willingness to engage with the deeper aspects of health. You are your own healer.

While herbal and natural therapies can support the body’s healing processes, they are not substitutes for urgent or emergency medical care. For acute conditions such as broken bones or life-threatening infections, hospital treatment is essential.

A herbalist’s role is to help uncover root causes, support the restoration of balance, and guide you toward a more harmonious and resilient state of being. Always seek the appropriate type of care for your specific needs.
